Troopers (the 3) here are very polite and professional and I give each and every employee here 5 stars! I give the bureaucratic entity 2 stars because the department is grossly understaffed and underfunded! By cutting the budget, you endanger the lives of these fine men and women who dedicate their lives to fighting the crime which plagues WV. My home and storage unit were burglarized within the past 2 weeks and my home was again burglarized 2 nights ago. If there were more police and more troopers, there would be less crime. Use the nuisance and civil forfeiture laws that are on the books and get rid of the drugs and the cooks, and grow the budget, and hire more staff! Community policing works but only if there are enough police and good people in the community to make it work.
