*MUST READ!! * Want to know what this Shoneys is really like to help you make your decision? I am a former worker at Shoneys i worked here in 2016 through 2017. My experience here was fun and they had great food i could snack on, but I saw how the store, and food is treated. The cleanliness is horrible. I can remember watching another worker who still works here (almost 2018) who has picked up a brownie that we put on our "Famous Hot Fudge Sunday Cakes" with her bare hands with tongs laying right beside container, put the brownie down on a plate lick the chocolate off of her fingers then touch the ice cream that goes on there as well with bare hands wipe off on apron then proceed to serve the food to customer. Not to mention they do it over and over. i watched them say " Oh give me a fry." Grab one off of customers plate before serving it to them then give the customer their 5 shorted fry plate. Yeah yeah you're thinking its just one fry, but how many employees manhandled your fries before giving them to you? I'll say about 3, wonder if all of them employees has washed their hands? YUCK! Also watched them them check to see if burger, baked potatoes are made correctly by opening it up with bare hands. completely disgusting. Great friendly workers but horrible cleanliness...

Got the sirloin with salad bar. Delicious! Shoney's nowadays is hit or miss, depending on location, but this one is a keeper. Good service.
